Community Service
In January, the school is taking one Saturday to serve the community. Parents and students are all welcome to join and it will begin at 8:00 am and go until 3:30 pm. The date is still to be announced but once everything is finalized we will send out an email telling you the time. There will be several job sites to help with including a nursing home, an animal shelter, and a soup kitchen. We hope to see all of you out there and thank you so much for your participation.
Focus in Class
For the upcoming semester, the students will begin working with caterpillars to learn about the life cycle and metamorphosis. This unit will last for about 5 weeks as we monitor their progress. I have sent a form home with your students explaining what they will be doing with this unit, and if you have any questions, please feel free to contact me.
